Seeking Private In-Home Instructor + Boarding and Training (IKT) Trainer
Applause Your Paws, Inc. (AYP) is Miami’s largest reward-based dog training company. We’ve got a great thing going, and are motivated to find the next awesome member of our dog training family.
We’re currently looking to hire two trainers to join our growing team.
1. Seeking an experienced trainer who is comfortable working in all areas of dog training and behavior work, including aggression. This individual will work as a full-time private lesson (in home) trainer serving all of Miami-Dade County as well as teaching a few group classes weekly in our indoor, air conditioned dog training facility. The ideal candidate holds at least one professional certification from either IAABC or CCPDT. Ideal candidate is outgoing, confident and motivated to make $$. Candidates must also have excellent written communication skills and have strong computer skills as all of our platforms (scheduling, timecards, progress reports, etc) are cloud based.
2. Seeking a novice or experienced obedience trainer to join our in-facility trainer team responsible for working dogs enrolled in our day-train and board+train programs. Trainer must be results driven and able to focus on achieving results for clients based on board+train deadlines. This position is Monday-Friday from 9AM-5PM with paid vacation, sick and personal time. Ideal candidate holds a CPDT credential or is a graduate of a nationally recognized dog training academy. Must have excellent written communication skills as trainer will be responsible for sending daily doggie report cards to all board+train clients.
