For every pampered pup this holiday season there’s bits and baubles to be on the look out for. Be aware of these things to keep your pooch safe and out of trouble.

Make sure the tinkling tinsel, wires, and glass ornaments are out of Fido’s reach. Pets often break, chew, or consume these festive decorations and we wouldn’t want to have to hitch a ride with Santa to the emergency vet.

No eggnog for the dog! Fun wrapped candies and Hershey kisses should remain on a high shelf, where fingers can reach and wet noses cannot. Keep all alcoholic beverages away from wayward tongues. If you’d like to let your furry companion in on the Christmas dinner remember to remove the skin off the turkey, chicken, or ham. The salt content is not healthy for them. Above all else monitor all four legged fiends or keep them confined to an area when they can’t be watched. No fallen Christmas trees from zooming puppies or missing deserts this year! Give that pup an interactive puzzle toy and a nice chew and entertain your house guests without a worry.
